Freespace was created in 2021 as an individual entry for Meteor.js' first ever global hackathon, with the goal of raising awareness around mental health and improve the accessibility of its resources. Freespace is an online web application that serves as an information hub for mental health resources tailored to the user's country and region, it was hosted using Meteor.js, and programmed with HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

The theme of the 2021 Meteor Hackathon was 'Creating Impact', and teams no more than 5 were tasked to develop an impactful application using Meteor Framework in any field of interest that sparked their curiosity.
